The cost of a higher education has been rising over the past decade. Now at the point where it is prohibitively expensive, students are saddling themselves with student loans that will take years to pay back. Many have started University straight out of high school, and are without a Major or a clue as to what they want to study. Tuition, books, and basic supplies are costly enough without factoring in living expenses, dorm room costs, and the bigger purchases such as computers and software.
